Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy at AUCB is shared with Bournemouth University and is an inclusive Chaplaincy. We welcome people of all faiths and none and we affirm and celebrate diversity. The Quiet Room and the Islamic Prayer Room are in regular use by staff and students.

You are warmly invited to come and sit in the Chaplaincy Open Area and enjoy something to drink and something light to snack on. If you want peace and quiet there is a space set aside where you will not be disturbed. If you feel like talking to a Chaplain please contact Bill Merrington, our Senior Chaplain.

The Chaplaincy is located upstairs in Talbot House, on Bournemouth University Campus, next to the AUCB campus.

To reach Talbot House, leave the AUCB campus by the pedestrian exit next to Student Services and Halls of Residence. Turn immediately right, past the parking booth, and Talbot House is directly ahead of you. The Chaplaincy is located upstairs.

The Chaplaincy’s opening hours are 8.30am till 11pm daily. There will be a chaplain on duty most days from 9am to 5pm. There is a room set aside for those wishing to reflect and pray, and an Islamic Prayer room with wash facilities. There are also two computers available, as well as WiFi for those who wish to bring their own laptops.
