What about Finance?
Students who take part in the Erasmus scheme receive a grant from the EU and this amount can vary each year. However, students should be advised that the grant is only considered to be a contribution to the cost of the exchange and will not cover all expenses. In 2009-10 students were eligible for a maximum amount of €225 per month in the first instance and then we should obtain a second allocation in April. At present this amount is not known but it could range from €5 to around €100 per month. Students are given this second allocation after they have completed the ERASMUS report form.
