  • An interactive new exhibition by second year Architecture students that combines structural engineering, acoustics and materials which emphasise the haptic experience of architecture is on display at Lighthouse in Poole until the 14th January 2012.

  • Two graduates from the Costume with Performance Design course at the Arts University College at Bournemouth had their costumes selected for the Brancott Estate World of WearableArt (WOW) Awards Show in New Zealand at the end of August.
  • From 26th September – 8th October, the AUCB will be taken over by a flock of frogs, or crickets crawling through open space or a swarm of fireflies passing overhead, as part of Sonic Forest, a sound and light installation by Christopher Janney.
  • Shiro Araki, a graduating MA Costume student has been awarded the MA prize for outstanding contribution to his studies, which have seen him engage in his work with fellow students and staff throughout his year on the MA course.
  • Preeti Sood, a Printmaking Technician Demonstrator is celebrating after her work was selected for exhibition alongside renowned artist Damien Hirst at ‘Bite’ a new Printmaking exhibition in London from the 24th August – 3rd September.
