How To Apply

All full-time courses have set entry requirements and these are listed on the right-hand side of the individual course pages in the Courses section.

If you have different qualifications to those listed you can contact NARIC. They provide a service for international students seeking information on comparability between international and UK qualifications. Alternatively you can contact the International Office for advice.

It is also important that you have the correct English Language skills (downloadable pdf) as well as artistic and creative skills as all our courses have a strong academic component.

Deciding where to live and study for 3 to 4 years is a big commitment and we therefore highly recommend that you visit the University College to reassure yourself that the environment and the course that you are interested in is right for you.

We organise official Open Days where you can speak to Course Leaders and have a tour of the campus. There are also regular Campus Tours, but if you can only visit at a particular time because of your travel schedule please contact the International Office and we will arrange an individual guided tour and full information on the area of study you are interested in.

The University College has links with agents in countries throughout the world who are able to assist with student applications and handle the application process for you should you wish to have help.

We also regularly send staff to visit Japan, China, Korea, Norway and the Channel Islands and make occasional visits to other countries such as the USA, India and Vietnam and welcome enquiries from students who may want to meet with us.

You may also wish to take into consideration the UK’s visa and immigration requirements as once you have been accepted on a course many international students require visas to come and study in the UK.
