Fees and Finance
The University College maintains its fees at
the lowest possible levels and has a thorough quality assurance
procedure to ensure a high standard of teaching and resources for
students. Our fees cover all teaching plus access to full
facilities and resources during the term-time opening hours.
For International* full fee paying students the fee is fixed for the whole course so what you pay in the first year will be the same as what you pay in the second or third year of the same programme.
(*International = overseas students from
countries other than the European Union or in some cases EU
citizens who have been living outside of the EU for several
years).
If you are unsure if you should pay the International fee or if you would be classed as a UK/EU student please complete and return a fees assessment form (downloadable pdf). Further advice on fee status can also be found on the UKCISA website.

For EU and International students
All International students can now pay their
tuition fees via our on-line system using Western Union Business
Solutions using the StudentPay
service. StudentPay then transfers the funds to the Arts University
College at Bournemouth on your behalf. Pay fees in your country's
currency, Commission-free with StudentPay. Click here to use
StudentPay.
Living Costs
Before leaving home you must be sure that you will have enough money to pay for your course fees and living expenses. Living in Bournemouth is much more economical than London and you should allow approximately £5000 to £8000 per year.
If you need a visa you will have to prove to the UK Border Authorities that you can pay your first year fees and have funds for subsistence/accommodation for the first year of study at a rate of £600 a month for nine months. (The rate has been set at £800 a month for students in London).
The International Student Calculator has been launched to help international students plan and manage their money for studies in the UK and you may find it useful to learn about building a lifestyle budget and understanding how you will spend your time as well as your money in the UK.
Information on working in the UK, bursaries and scholarships can be found in the next section, financial help.
