Foundation Diploma - Part Time Study

COURSE STRUCTURE

This course gives you an insight into a broad range of art and media disciplines before specialising in an area that interests you. Over the two-year course you’ll have one day of tuition a week and be expected to spend an equal amount of time on private study.

In the first year you’ll explore processes and techniques including drawing, fine art, fashion, textiles, graphic design, illustration, printmaking and photography.

During the second year you’ll start to specialise and tailor your projects to particular areas of interest. At the same time you’ll benefit from working alongside students with different interests. The course culminates in a final project that will demonstrate the skills and knowledge you’ve gained.

APPLICATIONS

The application process is the same as full-time study.

FEES

Fees from 2011 will be £670 per year.
