AUCB has an excellent reputation nationally for its media courses, and this Foundation Diploma is the perfect place to start. The course follows the same structure as the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design but with a specific focus on Photography and Film.
As you explore and experiment through a range of projects using photography, video and visual studies/drawing, you’ll gain a real insight into specialist media and photography.
Although students usually progress to film and photography courses, the programme also prepares students for any of the other five disciplines in the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design programme.
Entry requirements, Applications, Interview and Portfolio Guidelines are the same as for the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design programme.

ADDITIONAL DRAWING QUALIFICATION
A range of creative industries and higher education courses has identified the need for greater drawing skills in those entering employment and degree-level study. Alongside the Foundation Diploma, students on this course will study the (level 3) UAL Certificate in Drawing; offering an exciting opportunity to develop essential drawing skills, enhancing their studies and critical skills
to support creative activity. In Stage 1 of the course you will undertake core-drawing units; Stage 2 of the course will follow more pathway specific units tailored to specialist delivery.
