Research
The Enterprise Unit is developing relationships with commercial businesses and organisations in the public sector to identify opportunities to carry out research and consultancy projects within the areas of design and media, with a specialisation in business incubation. Staff of the Enterprise Unit will collaborate in joint research projects with members of the University College and other institutions, regional development agencies, government departments and business support organisations. Based on market intelligence, proposals and pilot studies will be delivered to the South West.
Consultancy
Along with current projects on business incubation Enterprise Unit staff also undertake shorter-term consultancy work, either on an individual or team basis. Previous clients have included Aylesworth Flemming, CHS Creative, Dorset Chamber, Local Authorities, HE Institutions and FE colleges.
