Introduction
The Arts University College at Bournemouth is a Higher Education Corporation financed by the Higher Education Funding Council.
Adopting a publication scheme is a requirement of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The Act promotes greater openness and accountability across the public sector by requiring all public authorities (which includes Higher Education institutions) to make information available proactively, through a publication scheme.
The Arts University College at Bournemouth has adopted the model publication scheme developed for the Higher Education sector.
The publication scheme is divided into sections listed on the left hand side under the heading Freedom of Information.

We have 20 working days in which to respond to your request. If we need to charge a fee, it will be calculated according to the Freedom of Information Fees Regulations.
We are not required to release information to which an exemption in the Act legitimately applies. However we would explain to you why we were not releasing information and we may also have to justify this to the Information Commissioner.
